Hangzhou · Photographs

A place you photographed in Hangzhou can be kept in this volume.

Why we take them

The pictures on these pages are mostly atmosphere, not a shutter-click. If you have walked these places, pressed the shutter yourself, and would let a gazetteer use one frame, we will look. Not a contest, not a prize. Only whether it is this ground.

What we take

Hangzhou’s lake, the hills around it, the tea slopes, temple, wetland, canal, river, Wu Hill, and the city’s human world. Your own shutter only. No watermarks, no tour-agency marks. Faces, if recognisable, only with consent.

Lin’an’s mountains and canyons belong to the Lin’an volume. Two inboxes; do not send to the wrong one.

How to send

Write. In the letter: your name (or how you wish to be credited), where it was taken, about when. Original files as attachments. We will reply. Used or not, we will tell you.

Licence

Sending means: you made this photograph, or have the right to offer it; you licence Jiuzhou to show it on this site non-commercially — including crop, cover, and share images — and to credit you, unless you ask not to be named. Copyright stays yours. You may write to withdraw it. Do not send pictures taken from the web or from someone else.
